Achieve against the odds….

I read a quote that said something like – It’s amazing what you can achieve if you are not concerned about who gets the credit (recognition).

Most of us go through life and give it a go on a daily basis to make this day better than yesterday.

Some days we make it…. Others…

Some of us have plans, grandiose schemes and goals… Others…

Then there are the ones that have jobs, careers, milestones, objectives; internal and external ones thrust upon them.

We are co-workers, moms and dads, brothers and sisters, team members and employees…

Each of these roles have different objectives, tasks…

It becomes mad….

Calm down… Breathe… Smile…

Method (The 5 Point Plan)

Step 1.

5 Things

5 Things

  • Realise that you can only do so much in a day, hour, and minute – whatever…
  • Realise that it is seldom a good idea to do more than one thing at a time.
  • Understand that progress can only be acknowledged at the point of completion.

Pick the 5 most important things that you have to do. (I did not say prioritise, sort, negotiate… PICK)

Step 2.

Pick ONE thing….

Finish it… (Complete the task, get it done)

Finish

Finish

  • Remember it’s not always a race, sometimes just finishing is the most positive result.
  • Quality standards and completion measurements are determined by YOU. (Consider making yourself proud here – does not hurt)
  • Don’t wait for someone to see it; if you know you did it, it should be enough.

Step 3.

Pat on Back

Pat on Back

Even if no-one else knows you did it….

  • Pat yourself on the back…
  • Feel good…
  • Grin on the inside…
  • Congratulate or reward yourself…

Step 4.

Look deep inside...

Look deep inside...

Look around…

  • Accept that the time to tick this item of the list has arrived.
  • Tick it off…

Step 5.

Move it...

Move it...

Step 6.

At the top of your voice SCREAM the word…..

... meaning to continue

... meaning to continue

Step 7.

Randomly pick the next item on your list…

Return to…

Press on Screen..

Press on Screen..

Repeat….

Warranty & Guarantee…

Seal of Approval

Seal of Approval

With this system I will warrant progress in any endeavour and further vow to return any money that you have paid me to acquire this system if the desired satisfaction levels are not obtained… This is a FONG KONG promise that will not hold water or do anything else except to make you smile. Results may vary dependant on the skill and knowledge levels of the practitioner of said program, but I will not exclude the possibility of success if the process is followed closely.

Wink... Wink....

Wink... Wink....

Have an awesome weekend…
